reason 10 dvd or download

Just got reason 10 dvd in a box from my wife. Totally happy with it. unfortunately it's on a dvd and it don't have a dvd drive on my macbook pro. can I just download reason and use the code from the dvd? asked propellerhead support but no answer yet. I'd love to fix this today as apparently until today you get the drum sequencer for free. thx

Yes, you should be able to. In fact, you could probably even register it before you download or install it once you create an acct with props. Kudos to your wife, btw, she has good taste and knows what's up.
