Robot Guitar Player

Hi Folks, I know chords. I got chords. So is there a way to get the A-list electric guitarist to strum _my_ chords? It seems locked into a pretty limited set of pre-determined chords.
Is there some other device that could play _my_ chords?
Ideally, I hold down the keys (or even specify a chord symbol - I need 7ths/9ths/13ths/etc) and the A-list guitarist plays the notes in the specified style.

If you want completely custom and realistic guitar strumming with your own chords and patterns, look into Orange Tree's and AcousticSamples' guitar libraries. They both come with lots of preset chords and strumming patterns, but you can easily make them strum any combination of notes you want.

For electric guitar, I recommend Orange Tree's libraries for the great-sounding vibrato and versatile tone-shaping features.

FYI: If you're interested but frugal and patient, Orange Tree Samples tends to run a big group-buy promo every summer, which historically has reached a 60%-off discount that you can apply to any product or bundle in their catalog.

With A-List Guitarists, be sure to enable the full chord set via the back panel.

Also, you can create your own rhythms via CV and a Matrix. So many people overlook this feature.

1. Create an A-List Guitarist
2. Create and route a Matrix to the A-List
3. Program phrases in the Matrix by turning on and off gates, and selecting different notes in the Matrix for different phrases
4. Hit 'Play' in transport or 'Run' on Matrix
5. Make sure A-List has MIDI Focus
6. Start playing chords via MIDI or on-screen keys
