Hi all, I'm selling my Reason 9.5 full version for $100.

It's a license transfer and payment would be by Paypal.

Thanks

That's a very cheap price!
Try KVRaudio, too if you haven't already - the buy-sell forum is quite active there.

In what universe that is cheap? It is very expensive. Reason 10. has been upgraded for 100 bucks from limited version and so on. Meaning, If One buys Reason 9 for 100 bucks, he or she is expected to pay 120 for upgrade. Right now Reason 10 at KVR is 150 USD if I'm not mistaken. So Calculate yourself and tell me 100 bucks is cheap. It is astronomical. 60 bucks is fair.

Just been to KVR and Reason 10 is listed there for €369 or $449.

Obviously you are mistaken.

Thank you for your helpful comments.

And paying 370-450 for Reason 10 is ridiculous, because you get it actually for around 270-300 and sometimes you get some additional bundles on top for a few bugs more.

One could get Reason 10 for as cheap as 130€ over at the Sell&Buy section in the KVR forums. I could post a link, but you'll find the Reason specific threads quite quickly I guess.

It's a very cheap price. The $99 limited/adapted/essentials upgrade was for a limited time. Buying this version for $100 and then the upgrade puts you at a total cost of $229. Buying Reason new costs $399. That's clearly a deal. As far as Reason 10 being sold for $130... just because 1 person doesn't value their purchase, doesn't mean everybody has to devalue it. OP's price is more than fair.

Yea, the price is ok, as long as you do not want to upgrade. If someone wants to upgrade, its quite expensive atm:

R10 210-250: https://reverb.com/de/software/digital- ... 0-download

R10 + Softube Bundle for ~380: https://reverb.com/de/software/digital- ... e-1-bundle

R10 + Soundtoys Bundle ~380: https://reverb.com/de/software/digital- ... ffect-rack

Each of those bundles goes normally around 500 bucks.

And R10 in the PH shop for 260: https://shop.propellerheads.se/product/reason-10/

And this was just a quick check.

That was not my point. The OP was kinda neglecting the second hand prices in the KVR forums.

There's a major currency misunderstanding here. All those prices listed are in Euros. The value of the Euro is far greater than the value of a US dollar ($). Reason 10 in US dollars would be $399. The $229 USD that would be spent on both the OP's price plus the upgrade would equal to 184.99 Euro. Still cheaper than every option you listed.

My last sentence in that quote addresses your statement. There's 1 person selling their Reason 10 license for €129 ($159 USD) but that is just one person devaluing their purchase. I'd say that person in question just want's to get rid of it, otherwise who in their right mind would sell a current $399 product for less than half of the purchase price? You can't use that listing as a base for market value. Also, there is someone on KVR selling 9.5 for $100. Again I say the OP's price is more than fair.

I didn't mean to get in the way of the OP and his sale.
My posts were primarily meant as notes for the OP. I think we can all agree on the fact, that software licenses are often sold way too cheap over at the KVR forums.

Cheers,
Mati

Wow. Just wow. Makes me want to take a joke picture of my retail box on the sidewalk marked "FREE". Wasn't your thing, good on ya for moving on when something wasn't working. That means you'll actually release music.
