Hi,

I recently installed High Sierra.
Reason 10 has worked perfect for my use, but after this update i suddenly see this warning message;

Image

.. and this is not a heavy project at all, I've done projects with five times as many channels + mastering effects etc.
I don't get this error often though either. So strange.

My workstation;
Mac Mini (2012) Quad Core 2,3 GHz i7, 16 GB RAM and 250GB SSD. RME Babyface Pro.

Another new feature is a random freeze when exiting reasonfiles. The mouse cursor freeze for 15-20 seconds.

- Anyone else with this problem?

I have similar issues. A little freeze for few seconds every minute.
I Think it could be my usb audio card but I' m still investigating. High sierra is terrible IMO. my old mac with Yosemite was far better.
I also notice that the more free disk space you have the better performances (Imac Pro 2016 I7 turbo here).
Try to use the built in audio instead the RME one and do some test.
Use to monitor any activities that can be eat resources.

Hmmmm? I'm on 10.13.4 and I haven't had any noticeable issues so far. - late 2015 iMac 27inch here, 4GHz, 24 gigs of ram

By the way, there was no iMac Pro in 2016, and RME drivers are still the best in the game. If you try to compare the internal soundcard to RME performance, its like trying to drive a 1980's moped to today's Cadillac

I wish I could say I have an answer for You. It seems the older operating systems work well with the older machines.

I meant I bought an Imac IN the year 2016 . The 21.5 inch retina with I7 . I don't know but I still prefer Osx Yosemite .
Ahahha the audio test is not to compare RME with the built in but just to isolate problems.
I own 2 Macs and know perfecly the core audio drivers what is mean. I own motu, m-audio, presonus and universal audio stuff. I'm not a beginner.
