igntition key same as Steinberg key/

As the title says - is the Ignition key the same as the Steinberg/Vienna key? I searched and found several threads talking about the ignition key but nothing asking about what this thread is about.
I think they are the same because I have my Reason 8 authorization on the same key my Vienna authorizations are on. I had to get the correct s/w to make it work as I had the old kext from WIBU. See this link: https://www.propellerheads.se/support/u ... ition-key/
There's nothing on the Propheads site about what I'm asking for.
