You can always bounce some audio and use the reverse function.

Khs Reverse is free AFAIK and you can use a sample and it's editor.

Don't wanna sound like the grammar police but it's "effect".

What kind of reverse effect? what are you wanting to reverse?

Khs is $29 dollars, not free.

Than maybe it was free when it was released. Can't remember I played for it. Bad luck...

Right click on midi clip and "Bounce in place"

Then you can chop, reverse, stretch, etc.

kHs was free when it was released, but not any more. With reversing, there's a couple of ways to do it in stock Reason, but in all of them you need to have an audio clip to play backwards.

That means if the part you want to reverse is a virtual instrument like Thor, you'll need to right-click > bounce in place, as described above, to give you an audio clip to work on.

If you want to reverse a little bit of the whole track, probably the easiest way to do that is to click "rec source" on the master section,
then create a new audio track, and in the little drop-down menu select the master as the source, and make sure it's armed to record,
Then cue up the section you want in the sequencer and hit record. You'll see a new audio clip appear in the new audio track, and that clip is your whole mix for that section until you hit Stop.

Once you've got an audio clip, it's as simple as right-click > Reverse.

You're right. I just checked on mine as I downloaded all the free Khs ones when they were first released and I have it so yes it was indeed free to begin with.

Thanks for the feed back, I will defiantly give this a try.

Wish I would of found reverse when it was free.

Protracker on the Amiga had a 1 click reverse function. Ah those were the days.

One of my favorite reverse reverb tutorials was done by Selig back in the 6.0 days. Still applies to the current version:

It was always $29. But we did a Christmas give-away for a week or so in December 2016 if I remember correctly.

Hey no problem! I always loved this video as it shows that it can be done with native devices with relative ease, and the effect is simply sublime. Enjoy!

It's also worth noting that there's a reverse mode on the RV7000
