Wrong colors in reason pallete or i`m daltonian? (R9)
~
Hi people! Do you compare the colors in the palette and the tracks / mixer?
Every time I chose a color, I feel myself daltonian.
I decided to compare them. (the picture below)
It's not the same thing!
It seems to me that the guys are confusing something ...
Ochre (like orange)
Peach (darker then rack)
Wheat (darker then rack)
Pineapple, Lemon and Bright Olivie looks like one color
Powder Blue (more like Slate Blue shade)
Light Blue (seems from Powder Blue)
Sky Blue (darker then rack)
Steel blue (darker then rack)
Slate Blue (darker then rack)
Dark blue (darker then rack)
Pink (seems like grey shade, not pink)
Deep Purple (darker then rack)
Graphite (darker then rack)

I'd rather say you're sesquipedalian.
(had to google daltonian, lol)

Looks like the whole palette window is darker, even the grey area is darker in your picture. It doesn't look like that for me when I open the "Track color" window in Reason. It looks absolutely fine on my computer.
I'm on Reason 10 btw.

Here, I cut out only the turqoise from the last image you posted, without the colors around it. Left is the channel and right is the palette:
Looks pretty much the same to me without any other colors around distracting right? Did you look at that video I posted?
Edit: Oh, I see you already copied that so I actually copied the same color here. So ignore this

I agree, this color identical. And what about Light Blue, Powder Blue, Pink, Wheat, Moss Green?normen wrote: ↑11 Feb 2018Here, I cut out only the turqoise from the last image you posted, without the colors around it. Left is the channel and right is the palette:

My colors all match up on 8.3 and 9.5. The oddest part about your screenshot is that some within the panel (right side) look identical while others don't. Wheat looks like moss green and pineapple through bright lime look like the same shade of yellow.
Relax. Listen to some music.

Are you using two different screens by any chance ? If you are and they are calibrated differently (which usually occurs), then things like brightness, shades etc will show differently on both of them...

F.e. I use a 40" TV screen for a third pc screen, and on it the Subtractor shows as blue instead of green.
It's only because the TV has a fucked up color palette and just calibrates the colors differently than the other two screens.

And here I thought someone finally posted the same issue I've had since ..forever.
I have no idea why but my colors are completely wrong. Not just a shading issue. When the color name is blue, for example, I apply the color and it's actually red. 100% wrong colors vs names, none of them are correct. The little color swatch does accurately match the color but the text description is completely wrong. I'll post a screenshot at some point.

Re-read the thread. Your issue is probably covered by one of the links in here.sublunar wrote: ↑12 Feb 2018And here I thought someone finally posted the same issue I've had since ..forever.
