I'll have a look at manual... but when I try to make midi from audio... it seems to just copy midi locations but not note pitches... must be something I am doing wrong... advice?

Hi there. You need to press 'pitch edit' first, then go back to normal sequencer view and then do the audio to midi and it will include the pitch data.

Disappointing maybe, but certainly not strange. Algorithmically analyzing polyphonic audio and teasing out the pitches in it is no easy task! Just ask Celemony, they certainly charge accordingly... ;)

(Psst... you do realize that, in this case, it's "mono" as in the opposite of "poly" i.e. one note played at a time, NOT "mono" as in the opposite of "stereo"... right?)

oh... this is good news... going to try some experiments... was disappointed with what I tried so far... but this is indeed the fix I was looking for ... thank you very very much... lol... I was thinking what good is this if pitch and note values were not a part of it... opens it all up      :!:
raaiy use many actual cords any way... was indeed thinking mono as opposed to stereo... this is the best news all year
