Is there a way to get more in depth on grid?

Use the Tick counter 240 ticks in 1/16 measure, 120 in 1/32, 60 in 1/64, 30 in 1/128 15 in 1/256 etc.
It is not too much of an ask for people or things to be the best version of itself!

Nudge selection one Tick back/forward in the sequencer :
[Option]+[Command]/[Alt]+[Ctrl]+Arrow left/right keys
[Option]+[Command]/[Alt]+[Ctrl]+Arrow left/right keys
But is there a way to get more in depth so you can put the cursor more precisely? My problem with doing it this way is it's still too similar to just turning snap off because it's not following a grid it's hard to be precise.AttenuationHz wrote: ↑29 Dec 2017Use the Tick counter 240 ticks in 1/16 measure, 120 in 1/32, 60 in 1/64, 30 in 1/128 15 in 1/256 etc.

You have to double the tempo BEFORE you start recording - after tracks are recorded it of course makes no difference.
If your song is at 130, set tempo to 260 or even 520 (4x) and start laying tracks. 1/64 becomes 1/128 or 1/256 - is that enough for you?
For me, not much happens musically beyond 1/16, but there are plenty of sonic explorations above that. But for those sorts of things I prefer to leave the main sequencer behind and use a step sequencer or similar - much more flexible and quicker in many ways (depending on exactly what you’re after).

Came to say what selig said, that really is your only good option here.
Among the MANY other updates Reason's sequencer needs are more note and time signature values. It'd be great to be able to do 128th/256th notes, weird time signatures like 17/16, etc. without having to worry about annoying workarounds. Can't be that tough to add.

I see what your saying that's definitely the way to go in the future. It just sucks when I want to do an intricate timing with hi hats for example and I can't set it on the grid. I can get it in time pretty good when I play it manually but it drives my ocd crazy knowing it's not perfectselig wrote: ↑29 Dec 2017You have to double the tempo BEFORE you start recording - after tracks are recorded it of course makes no difference.figarohs wrote:
