Delete Track without Deleting Device

Sometimes, when I'm playing with synths, I have an issue where a track for a synth was created but then it was put in a combinator...

Now I have a track on the main sequencer window AND a track for the combinator! Soo annoying. How do I delete the synth track and keep the synth in the rack??

I know prob an easy question, but it's a hard one to search for in the manual.

If i remember correctly just right click on the track in the sequencer and click on delete track in the menu that drops down.
