Softube is nice. Line 6 had lots of models if you had their license separately.
All that aside, Kuassa amps all on sale for a great price. Vermillion I likes.
Who’s using the royal plural now baby? 🧂

I personally don’t really like the softube amps. Rarely happy with the tone and usually delete and use something else.
If you have a podfarm license (comes free with most of their interfaces) you get the vst as well. One of the users here converted a lot of the FSB patches to vst format so you can use them again. I don’t remember who but I have them if you want.

Kuassa amps are very good and offer a lot of features. If you want to use VSTs and dont want to spend money, check those out: http://www.soft-amp.com/audio-fx

I don't know how well the different amps work for guitar, but for synths I found the Line6 amps to be much more useful.
I never use the Softube amps. If I want a guitary (metal) character on a synth nowadays I use Kuassas Creme Amp.

Creme is their modern over driven amp model
Vermillion more old school, less overdriven (also has clean/overdrive switch for more modern tones)
Cerebus is the bass amp, some like it for guitar

I don't care for the Line6 or the Softube amps very much. The Softube sounds less artificial to my ears, but it's far less versatile.

I usually use Kuassa's amps and effects. Amplifikation Creme is my favorite, and it gets a lot of use from me alongside their distortion and modulation effects.

There are also all sorts of VST amps you can use in Reason nowadays, probably including some free ones that are pretty good

Same here, Kussa Amps (both) along with some Guitar Rig (NI) on occasion.

I don’t have Creme (yet), but everything I’ve heard recorded with it sounded awesome.
