Hello everyone, I am about to upgrade from Reason 9.5 to 10.
Im on Propellerheads site and the options that I have are

I already own Reason 9.5 and I have it installed on my laptop the way that it does not require to be connected to the internet in order to run. I think that there is another option where you can run Reason to two pcs but then you have to be connected each time to the internet in order to run, I do not want this way.

So what button do I hit first?

If I press download, it prompts a page where it says that it will download Reason 10 (3.2 GB)
is this what should first and then register or authorize?

Is there a guide? The only reason I am asking all of these is because I do not make something wrong that cannot be changed after..

thanks

I think it doesn't matter. You can deauthorize a authorized computer later again and authorize a new one.

I installed the install reason 10.exe
then it prompted the following window

what should I do?

I want to able to run Reason10 only on this laptop and without to be online all the time.

In order to make it this way, should I first run it on demo demo and then register it?
what should I do?

Im happy that i got 10 and frustrated at the same time...

Login to your accout on https://shop.propellerheads.se/

Than go to your account

than AUTHORIZE your computer. As i actually noticed, that server is uber busy, maybe through Black Friday sales. So keep calm and wait a bit.

Well, it just says, you dont have any Rack Extensions. Do you have any? Can you now start Reason without login?

And btw: you should be able to run Reason with your account username and password aswell. The authorization is for a offline.

Actually i cannot mange my account well and have a look to my authorizations. As i said erlier, the servers are actually having uber high traffic. Did you waited until the web page shows some details? On my side, the servers seem so busy, the web page doesnt connect to the Authorizer. That may be a reason why you cannot authorize your computer. Also the Authorizer says, it cannot connect.

Which browser are you using? I actually noticed there seem to be problems with new Firefox 57. Maybe try Chrome or some other.

Dear Loque! You were right!! I logged in using chrome and when I clicked AUTHORIZE it continued as it was supposed to.

Now, I entered R.10 and right now Im downloading new content (pangea, humana etc.) 6.64GB right?
so I think I did it at last. I also clicked the ''about reason" bar and it shows my name registered so I think its done. Was this the way to register and run Reason without being online anymore? right?

Thank you so much! You are my new friend.

PS. Your icon kinda scares me a bit which is cool!

Thank everyone for reading this and I hope in the near future to have more questions more professional.. (Im totally new to Reason -I owned R5 for some months- then R.9 for two months and I loved it and now 10!)

cheers

Good that you finally made it. Yes, this is the normal authorization procedure. I think PH needs to sort out the problems with the new Firefox.
