I've had this a number of times... the last but not the only rack I've run into this with is zero... I usually have a song playing and auditioning rack presets... too slow message comes up when switching preset... from that moment on no sound comes from rack until I close and reopen reason...
does this happen to others in reason 10?(had it happen in vk2 and expanse as well)

Instead of restarting Reason try re-initialising your audio driver in the Audio Preferences (pick something else in the Audio Card Driver drop-down menu, then re-selecting your main one).

Disable the warning. I disabled it years ago because some devices produced short peaks and i got the problem.

sometimes this has helped... never noticed this until version 10.. will do... had to do this once when my audio interface lost it mind and would not output sound to internal speakers or head phone jacks after shutting down reason... this helped in that case... makes sense it may work in this peticular issue... thanks Aguila

thanx

note
to all people noticing when my typing becomes funky... seems to happen when I take my anxiety pills... don't love that side affect because usually I think I am being coherent... I see today... a million typos... sorry all... no alcohol involved as it appears... kenny... that is what occurred last time when I got my warning... mixed with much frustration from family terminal cancer prognosis in two close relatives... other major family health issues... and frustrations using v10... also hate cold and snow... living in Canada you would think that would go away... nope... but agreed... no need for negative rants
