AMD ryzen 1700 any experiences?

Hey folk like the title says, I've been chatting to IT guys about new pc build, nearly finished, they suggested an AMD 1700 over a (non included cooler) 1700x. I've spent a lot on new Audio interface, pc parts, an upgrade to 9.5 and a Nektar p1

Any users of a ryzen 1700. I'd greatly appreciate any feedback.

I had an 1700x that I replaced with i7 6800k which is considerably better for Reason. You can search this forum, there are 2 benchmark threads for Reason and you can get some info from there too.

I am returning my 1700, doing RMA process with AMD support. My piece is hit by hardware bug - under heavy load I am getting segfaults and thus memory issues (BSOD). It is possible to reproduce this under Linux via GCC (aka GCC bug). Bad luck, only some pieces are affected.
