Cool looking animation - Somehow I doubt that's just a synth fed to a scope… ;)

OK, all doubts dispelled (thanks for the links)!
Wish my software X/Y could display these as clean as the youtube examples…makes them look like a 3 year old's version!!! ;)

I guess my point was more about using the tools I have to create anything at the level I've seen online…

So I guess I won't bother buying a software oscilloscope to try to duplicate those smooth Lissajous figures.

I can create smoother shapes, but there are few adjustments on Signal Scope (which I use) for the X/Y mode. Lissajous figures look much better than the example I gave, but there are multiple traces visible when modulating quickly (looks more like a Spirograph, which can be cool - just wish I could control it further).

Signal Scope also has a "pro" version, but I'm not sure if the X/Y has more controls or if there are just more modules overall in that version. There are other options out there I've not investigated - maybe a google search for products suited for this sort of thing would turn up more options.
:)

I think most can. My one is ultra basic from the 60s and it's set up to do this. Needed some custom wires made for it, but luckily the guy who I bought it from on ebay did it for me free of charge :)
