Can't upgrade to 9

Went to upgrade from 8.3 to 9 and saw kratos 2 on sale, decided I would grab that as well.
Error check billing details.
Reenter card info thinking maybe it got corrupted, same thing. Tried removing kratos 2 and only doing the upgrade, same thing. Removed upgrade and purchased Kratos 2 just fine. Totally confused now, I retried to upgrade, same error. Now I'm just lost.

Stab in the dark: seeing that kratos is 45 and the update is 129, is it possible that you have a limit on your credit card (some have weekly limits, others monthly) that you're almost at? Like say you're allowed 1000/week, you've already withdrawn 900 this week so you can't buy anything above 100 until next week?

Only limit I'm aware of is 800 a day withdrawal from an atm and that's not the case.

Is your authorizer updated. I had this problem a while back. I think something went wrong after i had uninstalled the reason 9 beta. I didn't realize it until months later when i was trying to download the cakewalk compressor. I contacted props and they told me to update my authorizer.

yeah, i don't know what's up. I uninstalled and reinstalled everything, which shouldn't be the issue. Maybe something to do with the fact that it was transferred to my account? or 7 upgraded to 8? i dunno.

I've got a 2 tickets open (forgot i had already opened one, input form sure did look familiar) so i responded to the 1st one giving the 2nd ticket number so it can be closed, that was my forgetfulness.

problem is that I demo'd 9 (with intent to purchase it) and wasn't paying attention and updated some songs nearing completion

Luckily I didn't make anything in reason 9 but I did demo it.
It needs more:
Themes or studio one's color changer.
Integrate more rack extensions by default like parsec [had that one for years already but it was made by propellerhead so no excuse]
Integrate a new browser interface that would be as big a jump as 8 was from 5 [I skipped 6 & 7 so I was blown away]
Destroy your recycle product and put it inside reason since those modules have had sampling support since 5.

Reason 9.5 or 10 will make it a big jump hopefully.

I thought about holding off, but the you can get pretty creative with the players and the new sound bank is quite nice for inspiration. Also some QoL changes in the sequencer. In the end it was all the little things that add up
