Retina support (that is : readable and smooth racks)

I'd really liked if they come with a specialized Combinator which would be a cross between the Combinator and Thor. The "modules" in Thor would be REs (with smaller sizes), connections could be made in the modulation matrix and on the rear panels, and the (combi) programmer could be used to whatever "performance" settings you would be able to make.
It could be called "ModulR" and would be a sort of Eurorack rack ("ER") inside Reason.

I dont predict it will be the case, but I hope that RE can be transferable, or whole accounts, currently this is a major put off, and will hold some back from purchasing certain racks. Id like to get a better wave form view, editor, get much closer, zoom right in. A audio scrub for wave form editing is way over due, auto trim silent lead ins feature. Editing multiple tracks simultaneously so you can see how two or more tracks are working with each other see all note data, something I miss from Cubase. Zoom closer on racks, some buttons on a large high res screen are too small, be nice to be able to click on a zoom button in which a rack becomes 2x larger while working on it. Id like to see score printing, again a feature I miss from Cubase. Video player for tracking video with music.

Updating the GUI for modern HD and higher resolution displays must be pretty high on their to-do list by now. Scrub would be nice.

As long as it doesn't compromise the actual CV I wouldn't mind so much.
this is a good one like the simplicity of players that don't need mangling cables

I get the feeling the last 2 versions of Reason have been leading up to something large. We have the update mechanism, the separation between Discover and Reason, impending RE SDK updates that are well overdue, ReGroove section GUI hasn't been updated, retina support not complete, and so on.

Feel free to share your thoughts and feelings.
Factory Bank Update, Orkester Vol.2 , Fade Curves on audio.
Better audio management (Optionally include or not the audio files on .reason files)

It's where the playback marker plays audio as you drag backwards and forwards along a waveform. It's akin to scratching a record, or spinning tape back and forth over the playhead. It's a very quick way of pinpointing a transient or other sound that you want to act on.

... And it sounds cool.

Lol this poll REALLY (yes, Im capslocking that) needs an "other" option. Half of the features in this prediction poll aren't even realistic.

EDIT: btw, I love the cynicism of the people here to all vote "minor unexciting features", I lol'd twice. But completely agree.

You could be right and does anybody else think, or is it just me, that 10 is kind of a big milestone that would command or welcome a big update?

I have about 30 features but here's just a little idea - What about a Sync Button on the Transport for Synching the windows and a Sync Browser Button too. Annoys me how I can be looking at patches on the sequencer and then go to the rack and have to go searching for that same folder again.

Another really simple feature would be an arrow of some description on the transport to to go straight to the beginning of the track. Click stop 2 or 3 times is annoying and sometimes my mouse doesn't click it properly and have to do it again and yes I know there's a keyboard shortcut but forgotten it now.

The optimist in me suspects they're saving up for the 10 milestone - especially if competitors' upcoming version 10s (versions 10?) are a big deal.

The realist in me suspects we'll get a dark theme for the mixer.

Just voted. Voting included track grouping/folding, product aimed at casual musicians and obviously, subscr. model.

I'd like to see an iPad software created by Propellerhead that can act as a "complete" DAW controller (mixer control, etc.). Also, it still would be nice if one could edit multiple tracks at once. I like the way the devs of Reaper enhanced group editing with "sticky" stretch markers.

Drag n drop midi without opening those instruments I don't use.

If they come out with another synth I bet it will be a RE you will have to buy separately.
