Very inspirational Joey. Try this one. The combi knobs, buttons, and wheels look like they're mounted on a PCB.

How are you creating all the detail? The ones I create are minor league compare to these. I wish someone would make a how to video on things like creating Skins.

I just wanted to continue with this topic.
I want universal skins.
I do two patches, and will draw if I do not find something suitable.

I spend a lot of time on each patch, and then use the device for a long time. Therefore, the skin should be something special. :puf_unhappy:

Beautiful ;)

I thought it was a night picture of a city landscape from high up on a hill at first.

Sorry for asking... where is the folder containing the skin for Combi? Then, should I simply replace the bitmap?

Oh thanks for that link!! I´ll take a look!
well... I was asking where to replace the bitmap inside my computer (where is the folder in program files or such) in order Reason to load another skin when I start it.
Or the skin change is made in a different way?

You can make a folder anywhere to store new skins. Generally, store them as the specified size jpg (755 pixels wide, 138 high). When you right click on a combinator, choose "Select Backdrop" and your computer browser will open with the jpg's having darker lettering, if any, showing the choices. Double click the desired jpg and it will load onto the combinator. I don't know where Reason stores its default skins.

Just in case you need the default combinator skin, to see what it is, or use it as a start to edit, here it is, along with a color-inverted version, and a Steinway version:

Here's a combinator skin that I created from a photograph that I took of the back of an old Roland keyboard that belongs to Eddie Rayner, who used to play keyboards for Split Enz. I'm not sure which model Roland it is but I thought it might make a cool generic 'Vintage Roland' combi backdrop. I've included a photo of Eddie Rayner that I took with said keyboard.
