Hello fellow Reason users,

I have a question...

Is quantizing audio destructive editing?

In other words, if I quantize an audio clip, save the song and then close Reason, is the original (non-quantized) audio clip recoverable?

Any editing will result in changes. Duplicate the track if you are unsure of an idea is a good practice :)

Hi,

Actually You can "Revert" back to the original state of the track by;

1) Double Click The Track that has been previously Quantized.
2) Right Click The Track and Select Revert All Slices.

Note that "All" Slices will Revert to their state before Quantization and not just the Slices that You Select / Highlight.
