It is now built-in. Unrelated to the shop. It's a great tool and should have probably always remained free as it's a great gateway into CV. I'm happy now that it's included because many of my Combinator patches I share with friends and coworkers usually contain Pulsar. Pulsar being free isn't really news, anyway. It was made free in the shop several months ago, wasn't it? The only difference now is that it's built in to Reason, so combinator patches in soundbanks can safely assume that users will have Pulsar and thus make use of it, just like they can assume users have RV7000 or any of the other stock devices.
