Hey all, figured I'd consolidate all my live-stream shenanigans in one place rather than spamming the hell out of the place/setting up a thread every time I do another stream. As such, I'll edit and update this post accordingly!

My next stream will be on...
Friday 12th February at 7pm GMT

You can tune in here: http://twitch.tv/adfielding

Also, you can check out my archived music-making live-streams over on Youtube.

All of the live-stream project files & rendered MP3s are available here.

If you like what I'm doing and want to support my streaming/tutorial/musical endeavours, please consider checking out my Patreon. There are a ton of benefits to joining, including getting access to a ton of music, samples, and direct feedback on your tunes from me. No worries if you'd rather not, though!

Well... after lurking here since the creation of Reasontalk, I just watched the recording of your last livestream and I feel compelled to make my first post to thank you. I thought I'd watch 10 minutes or so, but found myself sitting through the full two hours. Some great insights into workflow and techniques. Awesome. Looking forward to the next one.

Cheers,

Mark

I enjoy your output Mr Fielding, and this is probably a daft question (as they are live) but is there anyway to watch your previous live streams?

Yep, as dan_g pointed out - I'll be archiving this on Youtube afterwards. I'll set up a proper Youtube playlist once I archive this one and pop a link in the first post. Until then, here's a link to my Youtube channel.

I'm a huge fan of your patches Adam so a little patch creation would be interesting to see during the session. Loved the other video by the way, fascinating to see how others compose :)

Thanks! I'm planning for my next session to be sound design related - not entirely sure what that'll entail yet, tbh, though it'd be good to have a bit of a mixture of patch creation and audio manipulation in there :)

Thanks to everyone who checked out tonight's session! I've just uploaded it to Youtube here:

Might take a little while for higher quality versions to pop up, but it's in Youtube's hands now.

Watched the streams on catch up (they are available from your twitch channel as well as youtube, twitch saves your broadcasts).
Good work, nice to see how others use Reason. Well done with your trailer soundtrack (dem sub drops......), bet that'll make your chest rattle in the cinema. ;)

I don't wanna be a stick in the mud, but isn't Twitch supposted to be gaming-related? Or has this changed all of a sudden? Youtube handles livestreams as well.

Also I assume Ustream is dead?

Thanks all! Glad you're enjoying my waffling on about stuff

Yeah, that was my thinking originally as well - but they have a dedicated creative section now, and there are quite a few people over there streaming visual art/music/various other creative processes. Generally I prefer how Twitch handles live-streams (and, as mentioned above, it archives videos for a week or two after streaming), but I prefer the permanence of Youtube for archiving so I figured this was the best option :)

Good job on the vids Adam - interesting watching how you put things together - oh, and I drank tea while I watched ;)

Haha, good stuff! I'm celebrating my birthday this weekend, so I imagine there will be "tea" consumption a-plenty ;)

Great job, inspired me to get a webcam [c920].

Anyway, if i'm allowed to have an opinion, I found the 1st stream very intriguing. Watching 'nothing' become something is appealing/instructional. Contrarily, being presented with a screen of devices and then trying to walk through the madness is harder to digest.
