Hello,
I was searching for a spectrum analyzer for reason and found that video on Youtube
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hf6jGnMg0nY
So i'm not sure i get what he exactly did on this video but from what i understand he dont compress the kick at all but instead use the kick band frequencies to compress the same band frequencies of the bass ? i'm right ? If so is this any better to compress the overall bass ?
Sidenote, i'm still looking for a good spectrum analyzer for reason and i quit like what the RE60 offer. For those who use it how much do you like it ? Is there any other spectrum analyzer out of there for Reason ?
RE60 spectrum analyzer ( The way to solve the conflict of frequencies )
Lectric Panda has one:

Synapse's GQ7 is an Equalizer with a build in Spectrum Analyzer

The Carve RE does that.Voyager wrote:Hello,

RE60 spectrum analyzer in combination with the free RE 180 Dynamic Driver. I must point out that the Re60 does use quite a bit of juice, but i do have a low-spec machine and only reach out for these when im at that stage of production. Hope this helps. I have tried out Carve but get the correct result with these devices. Carve does seem a lot more sensitive ( maybe too much)and do not wish to get into a discussion about Carve as there has already been many topics regarding this device. No disrepect to the Dev , as he has has designed some nice and handy devices ( i will probably pick up one or two more in the near future)already up to and beyond that point, some of them , which i use regularly but Carve just didnt work for me as i would have expected.
Side topic :
Why can't we plug more than one audio source in a spectrum analyzer and have different curves with different colors?
That could be a way to see easily conflicts of frequencies.
(Yes, this is a hidden update request to Letric Panda!)

Tried RE60 trial today, and almost bought just because his fun freq bands output ability, but changed the decision after notice how it eat CPU. So, about 6 instances in active mode consume two lines in r10 cpu meter, that strange a bit for freq meter or simple eq. Sadly
Optic can do that:

(I agree that the idea would make for a funky upgrade for Spektrum)
There are a lot "Why can’t we do this and that...?“
I’m still waiting for basic features.
Until then use Voxengo SPAN. You can display different spectrums by using different audio inputs of the VST Rack Device.
x) But thanks!24 Dec 2015, 23:45
