Is it possible to use this unit with Reason as a Kong Control?

I just sold My MPD26 because I find the Knobs and Faders useless and having them near My Setup I often knock a knob that controls Pan on a Kong or width on the SSL.

I would have just bought an older MPD18 (no knobs) but I Want the Essentials Software for live use and Ipad integration.
So the only choices (under £100) are the new MPD218 (with knobs that are now on the left which is even worse) or The Element but I am finding on google that it is not wired C1 , C#1 ect and so simple routing (without the use of Midi out fom the Akai Software running in the background)

Any thoughts or ideas would be mulled over
