Hi all,

Forgive me if this is a silly question but is there a way for Reason to automatically create a new Alt note lane on each pass of a cycle record? I can only figure out how to do it manually which is a pain when both hands are on the keyboard!

This isn't possible natively, but there is a workaround you can make with an EMI and midi loopback going out of and back in to Reason.
If that interests you i'll make a write up.

Thanks Eauhm and Tiker!
the funny thing is that I wrote a post about the same problem yesterday - without reading this one!
I must have seen it and thought about it subconsciously:)

Mac has it built into the operating system already. It's called the IAC bus

Here's a link explaining it http://www.johanlooijenga.com/tools/12- ... ports.html
