Hi
If I load a sample into Kong and either copy that drum patch to another pad and/or simply load the same sample to another pad, editing the sample (the actual waveform not the sample parameters) in any of those pads would cause that edit to be replicated to the other pads. I though each instance would be independent of one another. Why does this happen?
Kong Weirdness?
Cause in Kong you change the Sample that is loaded. If you want another untouched Sample you should load the Sample again.

... and if you want to edit one sample in different ways in different Kong pads, the best is to duplicate the sample you want to edit, load each copy in each pad you want and perform the editing directly in those "copies" of the original sample (the copies in question, if made within Reason, are part of your song file).

If I do something like that I mostly save everything I made to Disk. First in Song Samples then to Disk. Cause if I store it only inside Reason the work is only in this one Song File. But work like this I don't want to do everytime again. And if you want to have a working Kong Set, that you can load in every Project. You are forced to save it to disk. Best you save a Kong Patch and Samples in the same Folder so you and Reason will find it better.
