1. at 0:00 the first sound in the track is as if a dj stopped the record... this sound is on a lot of beats nowdays.....The record will stop but pick back up in time.....something I haven't been able to replicate using virtual DJ. If anyone knows How can I replicate this it would be greatly appreciated
2. 0:01 the reverse voice getting louder effect? does anyone know how to replicate this effect on Reason
,thanks
What are these effects called and how do I replicate?
1. Also known as a "tape stop" effect. Ochen K.'s Glitch Effect does it pretty well.

2. If I wanted to make a reverse get louder, I'd take a forward sound that's getting quieter, and reverse it. Try bouncing a sound that was sent through a delay, with enough feedback that makes it as long as you want the fade-in to be, and then load it into another track, and reverse that clip.

I agree with ScuzzyEye for 1., but for 2. the best results can be obtained by doing it this way IMHO (thanks again to Selig for this tutorial):2nd Prez wrote:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kaMoFbvep3E

Hey Prez, I did a video which might be interesting for you regarding tapestop FX stuff. Might want to check that out. However, Glitch seems to be quite versitale at a very reasonable price. Did not check this out myself so far, so I can't judge the quality.
