Hello,

I'm looking for a way to transpose a sound in semitone steps. A step automation lane like the ones for a THOR oscillator or the transpose feature in DrRex. But I want to convert this special step curve to "normal" CV, so I can use it for another patch. So far I haven't found a way to get the curve out of THOR or DrRex. Maybe something has an idea how to achieve this?

Thanks!

Hi Guido

Without fully understanding what you are trying to do, have you tried using Thor Matrix to take Seq Note CV to CV 1 Out and wiring to the desired destination?

Hello Benedict,

yes, I experimented with THOR seq too, but was not able to get results from it.

My best result so far is a KONG patch with a fake audio file, which is actually just a LFO square wave. Then I convert the output of KONG with THOR to CV. Then I can adjust the pitch of the target by leveling the KONG pads.

But a step automation lane would be the easier and more precise way.

Have you looked at CV Mutant and/or Step Note?

Hi. I've not used this RE myself but Microtone by Ochen K might do the job
