Obviously keeping my RE but I think I'm going to jump the reason ship for a year or two.
So what do you think is a good price to sell R7 with Ignition Key?
What's a fair price for selling reason 7?
Normally, I would say about $300 would be fair. But considering the added incentives for buying Reason new, I'd guess $200 would be more realistic. That's just a guess, but if it were me and you were charging $300, I'd scrounge around for the other $100 to buy it new and get all the free REs.
Not if you use it. When used properly, it's worth quite a bit.MirEko wrote: Jeez this program is worth peanuts now :frown:

Yes obviously..JNeffLind wrote:

I have spent over $1000 in RE and used reason since v4. But I just find myself using other tools these days so thought I'd offload reason until there's a decent update (mainly sampling added to RE SDK and note to track)
Plus I don't use the stock devices really as I have over 80 REs so I figured I'd just buy reason essentials down the track

There are other things missing from Reason Essential e.g. EQ/Spectrum analyzer etc. (You can check it here) so if I were you I would not sell Reason 7 as it won`t get you too much money but wait until 9.0 comes out as it seems PH plan is to add features to every major version in point updates.MirEko wrote: Yes obviously.. Wait until the new sale end. If you sell it in $250 people will prefer buy it from PH, because for 149 more ($399)
will get R8 + $350 on RE.
Also, $250 is high price, because the person that buy it and want to upgrade will pay $129, so will end paying
$379 that is almost the full price.

I agree. $250 is very high. R8 is 399 with more than $350 worth of RE`s.Alkua wrote:Wait until the new sale end. If you sell it in $250 people will prefer buy it from PH, because for 149 more ($399)

You don`t get those RE`s when upgrading from R7. $150 is the limit for
what I would call a fair price.
There was a lot of people selling R7 in PUF beginner forum just before it closed.
They went for $100-150. With all the bundles with R8, I would say R7 at least is
worth less now.
You might get more, but if you want to sell for a fair price...
Cheers
