Pre Count in rewire mode....

So, I've been rewiring Reason to  Ableton Live for the last few days and  It's working great, but for some reason  when  I want to record  stuff to the Reason sequencer and I hit  cmd + enter Reason won't pre-count.  hitting the precount button or cmd +p  seems to make no difference.  The only way I can precount is if I hit the record button in live  but that won't  arm the Reason record  button,  it's driving me nuts!!!....


Is this normal behavior? Or am I missing something?
