today I tried R8. I'll skip comments on it, I am still shitty at R7. Anyhow, I decided that for today I will not feed my GAS (Gear Acquisition Syndrome) and move on, also cause the other guitarist in my band still has R7.
As you know, R8 moves Soundbanks away from the Application folder (on Mac: /Library/Application Support/Propellerhead Software/Soundbanks), so when I uninstalled it (moving R8 folder to thrash) I was expecting it to clean up the space it occupied. A quick check demonstrated that Soundbanks files where still there, and considering that it's >3Gb it's a bit unpleasant.
Considering that I equipped my iMac with SSD, those 3Gb are costing a fortune!
Anyhow, I deleted the folder manually but uff... that was annoying.
