8.2 upgrade read error

upgraded to 8.2 on mac, can't open now because of a read problem anyone else experiencing this?

I had problems originally on my Mac with R8.2

I just restarted the whole computer and it started to work

If in doubt with anything like that my theory is the old turn off and turn on trick, I was lucky it worked!!

Yes, just posted on another thread just now. might have to download new sound banks and authorizer. Hope this helps.

Hi,

we've seen something like this happen a couple of times - somehow a soundbank has become corrupt. In both cases, removing Orkester.rfl and letting Reason download it anew helped.

In both cases there were hard disk problems as well (needing a Verify / Repair Disk).

You find Orkester.rfl in Macintosh HD/Library/Application Support/Propellerhead Software/Soundbanks/Orkester
