I'm liking the changes big time so far, but my only complaint is that Reason doesn't seem to drop tonality/key info, so any songs dropped to Take show up as "unknown". :frown:
Win 10 | Ableton Live 11 Suite | Reason 12 | i7 3770k @ 3.5 Ghz | 16 GB RAM | RME Babyface Pro | Akai MPC Live 2 & Akai Force | Roland System 8, MX1, TB3 | Dreadbox Typhon | Korg Minilogue XD
I would love to see some enhancement of Rain in the realms of music theory. Something like have been introduced into cubase.
BTW how the iThor s keyboard work? I sit good, is there Midi out from the app? Do you think it could/should be ported over to Reason?

I am getting super tired of those voices using these artificial effects. sounds like robots to me.
I want music to sound as human as possible.

Propellerhead is in the business of making money, and unfortunately that robot sound is what sells.Marco Raaphorst wrote:I am getting super tired of those voices using these artificial effects. sounds like robots to me.

Eh just a fun feature.Marco Raaphorst wrote:I am getting super tired of those voices using these artificial effects. sounds like robots to me.

If we go that route, might as well ditch electronic instruments for acoustic ones...

Yes, I understand the marketing factor here.
But I just wanted to have this in print.

Can you set loops in Take 2.0? I've never used it but I remember seeing people were complaining that it didn't loop. Would be great for idea generating if you could overdub and use it like a looper.
Well, at least the good singers can stick to sounding good naturally and the less good singers and use the auto tune feature. I think it will make more of the music on Discover tolerable. I'd rather hear auto tune over flat vocals...Marco Raaphorst wrote:Yes, I understand the marketing factor here.

I wonder if the autotune in Take is going to be Neptune? I'm not about that.. especially not being able to tweak it.

I'm sure it's based on Neptune, just like the percussion in Figure is Kong and the synth parts Thor. It would be nice to have more control over the pitch correction, though.Lunesis wrote:I wonder if the autotune in Take is going to be Neptune?
