Well, not really, it's more similar to Reaktor. But close.

Interesting video of an interesting product.

....and a whack of hardware synths and who knows what...

Well, I`ll be damned. I used to have a blog and once I wrote an article like a suggestion to the Props (not that they would have read it anyway) which was like can`t you make something like Reason but using more basic, non repetitive components and wire them like in an electrical circuit... It was like don`t take the disadvantages of the real world into the virtual one...

Anybody ever use "Audiotool" for Google Chrome browser? Haven't used it in a while, so not sure if you can do CV. But it's cool and free!

I agree with this opinion more then I care to go into at this time. when I saw this video I instantly thought "wow, now that's what I wish Reason was doing". Instead, all technical advances beyond the wrist watch and pocket calculator are seen as a silly passing fad rather than the new way of making music. As an electronic musician, I find that offensive.

Such product would have been against the rack extensions doctrine, where you can sell the same product 10 000 times using different visual candy.

It looks like a more useable version of Reaktor. Probably more of an answer to Bitwigs routing.

The Retronyms did this already on the iPad http://retronyms.com/overview.html
Rej did this already for iPad, Android and PC http://singlecellsoftware.com/caustic

There's already a similar one available (Beap) (free)
https://www.ableton.com/en/blog/beap-po ... -max-live/

However I suppose OSciLLOT has some advantages, maybe it's easier to use. Also Beap is monophonic only (unless i'm mistaken..)

Unfortunately...high. Hopefully this get's tweaked, but right now, its just too CPU intensive for my use.

^this

As much as I liked playing with Reaktor and as much as M4L looks awesome to me in theory, it doesn't get beyond browsing ensembles and being constantly over-whelmed (and feeling stupid). ;)

Probably really heavy, since this product is made with max4live. Max can be heavy on CPU, Ableton... we already know it... is heavy on CPU.

This is not a revolutionary product ! Im not impressed at all.

Play truncated notes. Incredible feature, funny, I was just thinking of how best to implement that today!
