Are there issues with Reason 8.1 on a Windows 7 machine please?

hello,

when R8.1 came out i recall some people having issues with it
like it messed some other stuff up

sorry for being vague, but can anyone comment on this please

i'm just getting around to installing R8 on my laptop and would like to know if i should stick with 8.0 or do the 8.1 update
