I don't do mp3, but if I had to I would use oZone as I hate installing extra software and oZone has the ability to export.

foobar2000 w/LAME
dbPoweramp w/LAME
LAME (cmd line tool)

I don't do mp3 anymore though, as my player can play m4a(AAC), which is superior imo.

It's old-ish, but I've been using File Blender for super quick drag and drop file conversions for years. Perfect for batch processing. (Windows)

Since reason won't save to mp3 I would like advice on the easiest most reliable audio file converter.
I know i tunes can do it but I'd rather have a dedicated program that can handle multiple file formats.

thank you
I thought Reason does this now.

That said Reaper works well as a companion to Reason and exports mp3.

If you are exporting at 320, I cant really tell the difference much.

MP3 has improved over the years.

I use fre:ac - it does all the other formats too, rips CDs, and I'm used to the interface.

Thanks for all the responses! My friends told me that you can download music online by using converters like https://convert2mp3.cx. At first, I was lost, but I started understanding how it all works pretty fast. I have a huge collection of vinyl records at my house, and that was the way I would listen to music. I never liked DVDs and listening music on my PC, but phones have changed that. You can find any song you need on YouTube, and I only hate that the music stops when you're not in the app. That's my reason for downloading music online, but I still like vinyl records the best.
