I think he refers to the way crossfading is handled in ProTools for example. In PT you select the range of your crossfade and press f to apply it, or use the multi tool and hover over the bottom corner of the clips to acces the fade tool and hen draw a fade (or you can select a place for your fade in/out to start and then press D or G). You can later adjust curves for your fades.
Something like that would be nice. I don't have the need for crossfades very often, but when I do, I find merging clips, entering comp mode and fading there to be quite cumbersome.
Cheers!

I will wait to see if PH offers a bunch of RE's to new Reason users like they did with R8. I would have been better off just buying R8 new instead of upgrading.

I got a little angry when I saw that R8 offer to new users, although I understand the uh, Reason behind it. It sure would have been nice though if the existing users could have gotten those RE's as well. But we've been down this road before so....

Well updates should be going more easily, I mean 8.2 was a massive code clean out, 64 bit only 1/10 size (100mb) so thats got to be a relief for dev's and making it more easy to add new features. seems like 8 series was a good clean up and reset and now it seems ready for something refreshing and more outstanding.

Challenge accepted ! :)

still on 7.1.1, & will stay as long as possible ! (still a ton more RE's i'd rather trial & buy, & the synthetic Rig or outboard rig will probably get my money this year ...)
