Nothing has changed in my system, my songs play normally with the same DSP level, no glitch (i7 14700K)
But since a couple of days, exporting my songs whatever format is extremely long, even a 4 bar export can now take 5 minutes.
I'm doing everything exactly the same, exporting songs I have exported normally time and time again, this never happened but is now happening on all my songs.
Reason 12 no recent updates.
I am exporting now and timing, I have reached bar 7 and it's been 4 minutes. Total of 15 minutes to export a 3 minute song,
The song plays normally with CPU at 25% but when I export, the CPU goes to 100% and everything stalls for moments then the export resumes, stalls, resumes...
Anyone ever encountered this?
Reason Export
I've not seen that, but you have two other options. One is to bounce mixer channels, selecting the master channel. If that doesn't work, do a real time record to a new channel using REC SOURCE on the master, then make a copy of the song file and delete everything but the new file - then export or bounce that file (which should have no restrictions).
The only thing I can think of is an RE or VST causing the glitch, but you would have to bypass them one by one to find the culprit and that could take forever!

I havent updated the RE but I did update a lot vst's throuth their installed console with update all button (softube, arturia, ect) The projects have so many vst's it's going to be too painfull to find one by one, maybe I will start by disabling the combinators one by one and then the vst.selig wrote: ↑17 Feb 2025I've not seen that, but you have two other options. Thanks
Some VSTs have different settings when rendering audio. I speculate for a mastering limiter with high oversampling or something like that.
Check your VST settings and also check for differences in playback and rendering audio settings.

Yeah as Loque suggested make sure Reason is set to run at the same sample rate you’re exporting to. I’ve had this in the past where something had changed it to 44.1 and when I export to 48 it first pre calculates/converts everything and then renders. May even help having windows set to the same as well. I haven’t worked on PC in a little while so I can’t remember!
I've double checked my RME Babyface is at 44.1 so are my exports are at 44.1chimp_spanner wrote: ↑18 Feb 2025Yeah as Loque suggested make sure Reason is set to run at the same sample rate you’re exporting to. My best guess is that's a vst, probably from batch update with their software center, it's the same situation for all my songs that appeared suddenly.
