Maybe email them about a grace period? Or see if you can refund the purchase as it's been less than 30 days and then buy again in the new sale. Don't know if that's something you can do.

Caved and bought the upgrade plus Objekt .. and potentially Chord Sequencer (on trial).

Transfluxer will have to wait, but I may be tempted to blow another $19 on that new Spring reverb from Ekss.

Get Transfluxer instead of Chord Sequencer. I regret that one. Many better options out there for much cheaper. Scaler for example.

Anybody want to feel even worse about buying the upgrade on BF? I just realised I got 20 rewards points for registering my cheap upgrade so got Object for €18 . Good day for the Figgster.

I got a refund* for the update I bought on black friday and bought it for the new lower sale price.

*The money isn’t back in my account yet but If there’s any problem I will send my mom on them - she lives a 5min walk from reason HQ

So sounds to me like it would be right before the new year CET.

Yes. Rund fine. It creates MIDI which you can drag in ro the seuqncer. If you have a PB account and some virtual cash look in rewards. You may be able to gather a 50% off voucher which you can then apply to the current sale price. Think I got it for €12 and as I said it’s much, much better than Chord Sequencer.

As suggested, I contacted support and they refunded the black friday purchase entirely. I have now re-purchased the upgrade with the new discounted price.

I managed to get a good deal and still feel hard done by with these sale shenanigans. I bought a year of R+ from jrr on BF for £90. But had I known I was about to get Parsec 2 for free with reward points I would have bought the upgrade instead.

Tempting, but I barely used R12, cause renovation, and doing science and research stuff took up my time.

I will be happy to pay even full upgrade price later, as I saw RS adds nice things to R13.

After years of not seeing a reason to upgrade from 11 suite, I finally pulled the trigger and got 13.1 as I think for me it was worth it this time. I just couldn't justify upgrading at $200 after trying R12 last year. At $79 I finally got my VST3 stuff showing up, some devices and features I been missing out on and with reward points I got Objekt for free. I'm just wondering if it's worth it to update some devices to high res since I'm still on a 1080p monitor. Any advantages to high res over the old ones?

I just got a 32” UHD monitor and yes, much better. More stuff in screen.

I was in no hurry, what with the batch pile on an' all.
Still $79 is within my "senior on a fixed income" fiducial status.
And I do want to support my fave DAW.
That would be Reason, ye of little faith!
Other than that, these are wonderful times for a fella like myself, time on my hands and a teenage dream of a recording set up.
Am limited only by my lack of talent and motivation. Still, I forge onward.
