[solved] Windows not allowing me to install reason update

I have reason 12. It has a new update, when I download the update, and then restart reason., a popup appears that says 'do you want to allow this app to make changes to your device?'
Reason program file.
It has yes and no options, however the yes button cannot be clicked.
It's not grayed out, but windows doesn't do anything when I click the yes button. The only option is to click no.
And then the update fails.

I'm using windows 11.
Can anyone help me out with this?

Norton is stopping me install today's 13.0.3 update. Norton is set to the default safety settings. I guess I could temporarily turn off Norton while doing the update, but I wish I didn't need to. I've never had this with a Stable Release before, only Betas.

Op, you should write how you fixed it in case someone else in the future is having a similar issue they can try your solution, just typing «fixed» helps nobody…

It was a problem of my laptop keyboard, the page down key was stuck, it kept going to the last option in the dialogue box which was no(don't allow reason to change something in windows)
So even though I was trying to click on yes, it kept going to no.

There was some minor update it seems, could be some bug fixes or something.

Are you sure it wasn't an update you missed before? The site still shows the latest version of Reason 12 being 12.7.4

There was an update today for Reason 13 today with 13.0.3
