yes I sometimes use Red Rock Sound multiband compressor, I like the vocal presets._andreypetr_ wrote: β15 May 2024So does anyone own and use a Red Rock Sound multiband compressor and/or limiter?
Can anyone recommend buying one? And if - which one to pick for universal electronic synth setup?
it's really effective and it's cool to see the lines bounce to the sound.
I wanted to get their limiter too, but then I saw a video explaining why a multiband limiter is a bad idea and harmful for your mix

the Sidechain ReAction Enveloper is also on sale now, its old but I think it rarely is on sale , but then Reason also announced their new sidechain tool which might do the same thing?
I might also like to get Antares Auto-Tune for Reason, but that is not on sale while products on the Antares website is 50% now!

yep, that's what I mean, and I already got the free Pump, that's a quick fix, but I think Sidechain ReAction Enveloper lets you draw the curve and then we can even add more ducks on a one bar measure if you know what I meanLoque wrote: β15 May 2024Just a reminder...madwurmz wrote: β15 May 2024the Sidechain ReAction Enveloper is also on sale now, its old but I think it rarely is on sale , but then Reason also announced their new sidechain tool which might do the same thing?

Got it.
TBH, i mostly still use Synchronous and its Sidechain patch. I still like this the most, except the short click, which is audible from time to time. If i hear the click, i use a other Sidechain tool...

I have both. I use the compressor more than the limiter. The compressor has more uses, at least for me._andreypetr_ wrote: β15 May 2024So does anyone own and use a Red Rock Sound multiband compressor and/or limiter?

It took a while and a lot of emails just to get them to match the regular price of the Auto-Tune Access plugin after the price drop. There was confusion about who sets the prices, both parties saying that the other manages the product. I still don't know who updated the regular price, so not sure who to suggest to email about sale prices. I'd suggest starting with contacting Antares.

I've been stocking up on saturation stuff lately. Grabbed Turn2on's triple band saturator and Skrock's SMFX Dual Saturator today. Still eying that Ekks Auto X Compressor, but I think I need to reserve some funds for that thingy that's about to drop next month

I have the C1-L1. It is quite versatile, especially with the attack/release adjustment on the back._andreypetr_ wrote: β15 May 2024So does anyone own and use a Red Rock Sound multiband compressor and/or limiter?

Small tip: MBC is very similar to Waves C4 multiband comp, and there are several C4 tips and tutorials on YT that translate nicely to MBC._andreypetr_ wrote: β15 May 2024Thank you guys for your replies! I've bought MBC and don't regret it!

Does C4 saturate / distort the signal same as MBC if it's pushed into the limits ?crimsonwarlock wrote: β15 May 2024

I have no idea, I don't have C4 myself. It just occurred to me that the configuration is similar, so I followed several videos and got very usable results that way. MBC has more options, like a variable knee setting for each band. But the C4 videos were a nice starting point for me.dusan.cani wrote: β15 May 2024Does C4 saturate / distort the signal same as MBC if it's pushed into the limits ?

Same thing with his drum synths, SynR is at a right price (to me), but not Drumsyn which is the one I want ! Likely the sale price is higher for REs which sell well otherwise. Perhaps ne t time

Want to buy something just because. Doesn't matter if it's VST or RE...just to buy something. You know the feeling. So help me decide here...I already have a million synths...is Zoetrope anything special?

You don't have that one yet?
For serious, that one has a definite sound of its own. It is my goto for juno-like pads. And it is dirt cheap now.
I do love all the SKP stuff. Sugar-Q and FAT50 are favorites too.

Aaaa...I love Junos but I have a load of Juno Plugins...so I'm covered for Juno pads. Is it worth getting for other stuff too? (harpsichord aside)crimsonwarlock wrote: β17 May 2024You don't have that one yet?
