Rex samples

Is there a way to acc the actual samples used in the Rex player outside of reason?

Not that I'm aware of, you'd have to export as wav and then work from there.

Are you talking about rex in refill, rex as a loop, or slices in rex file?

Quite a few programs (e.g. Ableton Live or Loopcloud) can read rex/rx2 files. So unless they are packed into a Refill you can most likely import them as audio data.
