Reason 8 + Ableton Live 11

So I had a bit of hassle getting Reason 8 to install on my Macbook, (Monterey 12.6.1) yesterday. I found the solution on this forum though, so thanks!

Now I seem to be unable to get audio from Reason into Ableton. The "Reason" input in Ableton is greyed out. I read online that Rewire is no longer supported.

What are my options here?

Do some fiddly re-routing of audio via looping back with a third party app?
Send midi over IAC?

Or just bite the bullet and get the new Reason+ ?

Rewire should continue working as long as live 11 supports it ‍♂️ is only not available in new reason versions. It's not like they can turn it off for older versions

ReWire has been deactivated in Live 11.
Either use Live 10 or upgrade Reason to re-routing via Ableton Link or with VST3.

Yeah, I guess it's time to upgrade.... Sigh.
