I'll going to pick up Speo's new player, Map 64, for $9. It's not going to get any cheaper than that, and it seems like a pretty amazing tool. I'm also looking at Eksperimental Sound ES101 for $29 (marked down from $99), which seems like a good deal and big discount, but I'm not sure if I would really use it; do I really NEED another synth in my rack? Probably not. I'm also curious about ES 4 Channel Dub Preamp (looks like a pretty deep discount). Other than those two things, I'm not seeing anything in the sale that's grabbing my attention right now because I've already got the majority of the REs on sale. Since I can't see the prices, I can't say if they are great deals or not. I wish Kuassa would put their amps on sale, I'd like to pick up 3 more of those. Looks like it's just going to be Speo Map 64 for me this sale.

Well I held out all this time.. but now it’s time to upgrade to R12! And I’m getting the BV-X vocoder! Been hoping for a sale all year! Can’t wait to use Reason in Logic.

If the bundle is not on sale, yes, the individual RE may be cheaper.

I'm also curious about ES 4 Channel Dub Preamp (looks like a pretty deep discount).

I have this and really like it, but I use it just as a straight colouring effect (so far). I love putting Kicks through it with the saturation up a bit. Really rounds out the sound and pumps it up imo.

Reason still needs such a ios midicontrolapp companion for the new combinator, this would be the next monster deal wich reasonstudios could offer

The BV-X is the one device I've been wanting to buy and yesterday I trialed it for 5 mins and then bought
Such a brilliant design which removes all of the annoying parts of regular vocoders. I already stack quite a lot of vocals and this just gives me more options.

I trialed it before, and it didn't actually do anything for me that I needed. Not even at this discount. If the new Reason synth is in this realm, and I suspect it is, then that is not for me either. But we'll see.

Where do I find out the ramifications of upgrading?...Reason Studios is not great at full disclosure IME

The only thing that happens when you upgrade is you get the latest version of Reason and all that comes with it. You can still use all your REs discontinued or not.
