If I had to choose between all of those, I’d go for Complex-1 myself, but that’s because it’s an awesomely fun modular that does awesome bleep bloop squacks. YMMV…
Win 10 | Ableton Live 11 Suite | Reason 12 | i7 3770k @ 3.5 Ghz | 16 GB RAM | RME Babyface Pro | Akai MPC Live 2 & Akai Force | Roland System 8, MX1, TB3 | Dreadbox Typhon | Korg Minilogue XD
Let me just go ahead and say the 3rd option. Algoritm!
All 3 are great devices tbh, equally great.
Complex-1 might be the device you get the most out of, this depends if you are an avid cable router mad man.
Here's some livestream I did, showing both Complex-1 and Algoritm to a friend, both seriously wicked sounds with basic sound design.
//edit: slapped it to youtube

Thanks for the Reward section being useful. I bought new Bassline player for reduced amount, and Friktion last time for reduced price. Now it is only Pattern Mutator and Algoritm to keep up with RS devices. They are too expensive for me at full price so will have to wait and hope for a sale someday soon…or that reward points will drop from heaven…
I'll put another vote in for Friktion which I also got with reward points
This device has a very unique and beautiful sound, but the patches included doesn't do the best job in displaying it IMO.
Some more patches here. Don’t know if they’re any good though.

Tough decision, all three are great. But I'd go with "Friction". I LOVE this synth, it brought me so much joy!
If you'd like to get an idea, what's possible with this magnificient beast, have a listen here. Except the drums, all sounds were made with "Friktion":

Rewards Question...
If I use a 75 Reward voucher to purchase Bass Generator at £64 what happens to the unused 11 points?
Plus if I purchase this RE this way how many Reward points will be added to my account on this type of purchase?
Cheers for any help...

You lose them. That's exactly what happened when I used my £75 voucher on Bass Generator.BananaSkins wrote: ↑09 Dec 2021Rewards Question...

I swear, I forget every time and say, "hey I have 40 rewards points, cooll!" then I redeem them and remember that everything is 100$ and most of it comes with Reason+. Drives me nuts and my last voucher ended up expiring . I'm sure this one will to. It would be nice to use the voucher towards the subscription cost, but I understand that you want people to spend money, so the rewards are going to be 60$ and up.
It's just frustrating and I'm not complaining, I'm just ... I'm complaining. I've had all the non-RS extensions for years now. Since I pay for Reason+, I dont want to buy stuff again. All I'm saying is that it would be really cool to have a regular old 25$ voucher for the site. Just blanket rewards. It's Christmas.
By the way - Bassline Generator is dope and I may just pay for it twice (R+ and then buy it...)

In the 90s, my midi music was on the Baulder's Gate site. That was my life peak.
Reasonite since 2000. My music (and my old midi) can be found here: https://futurewizard.org

This device looks like good fun. I'll be grabbing it once my subscription runs out in May.
(in case this isn't the case already) I think all RS devices should just go straight into the rewards section upon release. Will help keep it relatively fresh, and it's not like rewards points are that easy to accumulate.

Yes, you lose those 11 points. It's a weird quirk/limitation in the current Rewards setup. I've said here before, I'd like to change it, but I can't promise anything. It's on my radar though, along with the other changes we've already implemented and would like to.BananaSkins wrote: ↑09 Dec 2021Rewards Question...
