as i said in another thread i cant afford a reason licence right not unless i get a cheap one is , so reason lite 10 enough( i have 11 but it has less stuff ) ? i don't wanna start working if i cant finish a song in it
so any advice here cheers
is Reason lite enough
Only you can answer that. If you’re able to complete songs in 11 lite, then it’s enough. If you feel you need more, then it’s not. There is an option of a payment plan from sellers that offer it or stores still selling the boxes versions of the 11 upgrade from lite if you can find one local to your region.

What I would do in your position is download the demo and see how you get along, just be aware whatever tunes you make won't open up after the demo expires. The other thing to know is you can download the demo without signing up which isn't exactly clear when you go to grab it, so no need to enter credit info.
Right now Sweetwater in the U.S. is offering Reason+ for 12 months for 99 dollars which might be a good solution for you, and I'm pretty sure you could do payments with that too.

I thought the upgrade from intro was much more expensive(double) compared to if you are upgrading from the regular version, which clearly the links state that they are both for intro/lite versions...wondering if that is an error? Or is it because those are older R11 upgrades that are still available...if it's the latter you better jump on that before they are gone!QVprod wrote: ↑21 Nov 2021Only you can answer that. The current upgrade for reason 12 is 129 dollars on other sites which probably will go down on black Friday
So getting an old version may be the way forward
If anyone has one mega cheap , someone inboxed me but hast replied yet so waiting on that , but if anyone else has a very cheap old licence

it's not that if you only have lite or intro, double check your prices!

What's your budget?
If you're on a tight budget, there might be more appropriate ways to spend your money.
There are free modular synths available, and 100% free sequencers with VST support (e.g. Sonar) and regular sales on top-quality plugins like Xpand!2 (you can get it for $17 from Plugin Boutique).

These are boxed copies which is likely why they are still at this price. Store has to get rid of them.MarkTarlton wrote: ↑21 Nov 2021I thought the upgrade from intro was much more expensive(double) compared to if you are upgrading from the regular version, which clearly the links state that they are both for intro/lite versions...wondering if that is an error? That’s $129 in addition to whatever someone charges for their old license which is likely not to be less than $100 unless the seller is just feeling extremely generous. The upgrade price for all full version upgrades is the same so the age/version doesn’t really change in value much. Version 8 is similarity as valuable as 10.
Whereas you already own the lite version of 11. If you can find a boxed version of the lite version upgrade (buying 11 new gets you 12) then you’re only paying $200. That gets you the full version. For clarity, there is no lite version of 12.
The current upgrade price for 12 $199. If you’re seeing $129, you’re likely still looking at limited stock boxed versions of Reason 11 and gambling off of availability in addition to hoping there’s a sale on it.
Best of luck.
I know but you can get old versions like 2 and 3 for cheapMarkTarlton wrote: ↑21 Nov 2021it's not that if you only have lite or intro, double check your prices!
