absolute tweak-free 80s synth sounds?

hi all.
i have a few vst synths, and can make great sounds with thor and europa, but i really need a set of patches or a vst with presets that have "iconic" 80s sounds i can just load up and use.
i have enough dx7and jupiter80 vst's and samples ro shake a stick at, but what i want is presets/vst/rack extention with compression, reverb, etc already in place to "load up an 80's song" so to speak to use in quick turn around youtube vids where i don't have time to edit and sculpt a sound.
it doesnt have to be editable, a basic "my first synth" with just gain and adsr would be great if the sound was already processed like a 80's synth on master tape from an album.
reason layers looks appealing, but maybe thats because they made a brilliant retro commercial.
only qualifier is i dont have or want to deal with kontakt player or anything with crazy drm or costs too much.
edit: oh and i am mac OS

Both layers and Algoritm are marketed as great 80s style synths.
Algoritm can go a lot further though.
Layers might have more presets
I say demo them both

yeah, i could demo lots of synths, but i don't want to spend hours going through presets in different synths, hoping someone here just knows off the top of their head
Layers is pretty much just a Rompler with some samples and a few extra controls which you can do easily with other stuff. (Feel free friends to correct me if I’m wrong. )
What “iconic synths” do you want to mimic? There’s masses of free VSTs out there which do the sounds of the classics. The majority of them have masses of presets too.

and not just the raw sound, but processed with appropriate fx.
i guess to try and explain it better, i want the ultimate easy list of nothing but super-popular presets.
i know alot of song's iconic sounds were literally synth factory presets, and i am hoping to find a curated list of presets of just iconic 80s sounds. but been having a VERY hard time finding this.
at this rate, i might just make my own presets and post them here in a month

Ok. What’s songs for example? I think there was quite a lot of them.WeLoveYouToo wrote: ↑06 Jul 2021specifically sounds iconized in pop songs of the 80s thatMrFigg wrote: ↑06 Jul 2021Layers is pretty much just a Rompler with some samples and a few extra controls which you can do easily with other stuff. WBF is a great source for that kind of iconic 80s sounds and worth its price (esp. when on sale).

My browser is playing up so i can't be sure they are still for sale, but EditEd4TV did several 80s refills from what I recall.

It's clunky, but the sounds are okay, and it's very cheap.

You could also subscribe to R+ for your free month and look thru the different packs. Plenty of stuff in there, with more added every week. I recall seeing some 80s specific packs.

UVI Digital synsations does exactly what you describe.
Cosign.
UVI Digital Sensations, BitleyTM's WBF, and maybe just going straight to the source (Korg Collection and Roland Cloud).
Came here to suggest this. It's an amazing refill. Almost too huge, but full of useful ready-to-go 80s synth sounds
