What colour sequencer do you use? (Updated with poll)
When the option became available I changed to a blue sequencer, and have since changed it to black and I'm now used to it and I like it. What I never did was go back to the sequencer being white, so I was curious if anyone else did.
What colour is your sequencer and are you happy with it? Did anyone choose to stay with white after the new colour options became available, or does anyone change it regularly?

White, because the contrast between blue or black GUI and bright elements of the Rack (channels, master, etc.) and the SSL Mixer is jarring. Until they unify this, I'm staying with white - my computer adjusts the brightness of the screen to the surrounding so I never had the issue with it being "blinding" like some said.

I switch between black and blue; never went back to white either.

White, I like to work in bright daylight in my garden!
MacBook Air 512GB SSD 16GB RAM, Reason 11 Suite, LogicProX, FL-Studio, Live10Suite
That's interesting. I just looked at the mixer and considered it being blue or black and my first thought is how would I read the knob and button descriptions unless the text went white or illuminated somehow. Is this what you mean, all the white on the mixer and mix channels in the rack be the same as the sequencer colour?antic604 wrote: ↑02 Oct 2018White, because the contrast between blue or black GUI and bright elements of the Rack (channels, master, etc.) and the SSL Mixer is jarring. I'm not sure how easy it would be to implement and how well it would look, but I really think you are missing out not having your sequencer dulled to a darker colour if you would like it that way. For instance when in the sequencer full screen there is nothing to contrast with.

This thread should've had a poll.
I use blue and can't stand white now, even on You Tube tutorials
I hope they introduce a couple of others, a violet / purply one and a proper jet black one and allow them to affect the mixer too.

You don't think the mixer might look a bit messy like that? The text on it is black and that would clash so what would you do there? :OCreativemind wrote: ↑02 Oct 2018This thread should've had a poll.

I've tried it couple of times. I'm not missing anything, I'm not bothered by white colour because my computer dims the screen when it's dark outside.Jagwah wrote: ↑02 Oct 2018I'm not sure how easy it would be to implement and how well it would look, but I really think you are missing out not having your sequencer dulled to a darker colour if you would like it that way. Recently went back to white. Nothing really against the others. It’s mostly mood I guess. Unless you use say white for tracking and blue to switch to mixing....
White reminds me more of the YouTube tutorials which I like. Seems like white may be easier to see at least to me...

Always been white. Tried black once, didn't like it.
Blue. Can't wait for the dark Explorer option in the next Windows 10 update too.

I didn't see the video but from personal experience i can tell you Aberdeen is full of 7 foot tall oil rig workers. Friendly in that leary slightly overbearing way. One guy announced he was leaving the pub to go home by smashing his pint glass on the floor without the slightest hint of animosity or anger.
white.
Because it's been white for the last 18 years for me and I don't care about "now it looks as cool as the other DAWs"
