Thank you thread for Propellerhead Software
I just wanted to create a thread where we just simply can say a thank you - without any negativity for once. xD
From my part, I'm saying a thank you very much, because being the bum I am, xD first the $ 99 upgrade to full version offer was pretty much spoiling me - I was only dreaming about the full version this year.
Now they added a free update which adds an important feature to Europa, and they even offer their new drum player for free until the end of the month. That, and they will update their VST performance, too - free of charge.
Who could possibly still complain, when this kind of free does certainly come without a D up yours? xD
P.S. Thank you! : )

Good thread.
Thanks to Propellerhead for enabling me to get my synth fix on a daily basis.
Got to face it Reason is a sh*t hot piece of software.

The Drum Sequencer is Excellent ...but i just copped that its not free (i'm slow on the pickup sometimes). My Cred card is close to being canceled .. really wished that this was free (as with the oher players) so i'm not happy bout that at all
It is free for Reason 10 until end of may or free, if you upgrade to Reason 10.Reasonable man wrote: ↑08 May 2018The Drum Sequencer is Excellent ...but i just copped that its not free (i'm slow on the pickup sometimes). yer i know . Have 10 . I can see from a financial perspective that this makes sense for them . But its a bit like hooking you for a month and then taking it away unless you pay up
If you already have Reason 10 you just have to download Drum Sequencer now and it's yours "forever", you won't have to pay anything.Reasonable man wrote: ↑08 May 2018yer i know . Have 10 . Been a user since R6 and have seen the program grow and expand into the best, hassle free music creation tool on the planet!
They lost their way for a while but R10 and this update really turned heads and now they are playing with the big boys.

Yes thank you PH! Great job on this update!
VST performance, and sequencer QoL improvements and perhaps a general performance boost for Reason (can play way more instances of The Legend VST in Live than The Legend RE in Reason for example) and I would be the happiest guy in the world.

I had held off on the v10 upgrade until I felt something compelling came along, and I think the changes to Europoa, and the new player SDK is worth the upgrade. I can't wait to see what the RE community comes up with.
Thank you Propellerheads, this version is great.
@lectricpanda, you know kompulsion will be my first player purchase!!!

Absolutely, Propellerheads are the bestest!
I've never lusted after another DAW since making the long awaited switch to Reason circa V6.

Thank you, Props.
Been a user since 2.5 and still going strong! I’ve learned Logic and Live reasonably well, but Reason is still the app I’m most comfortable and productive with by far. Loving the new probability mode in the Drum Sequencer update. Keep ‘em coming!

Excellent thread.
Reason - and PH - seem alive and well at the moment. The last 12 months have been pretty massive for the development of Reason, and things seems to be heading in a very positive direction.
If you look around at what's happening with DAWs in general, you have Sonar being bought out, a load of new DAWs in the market over the past few years, and still very many people on Ableton. PH are doing a good job of finding their way through all this, and continuing to make Reason fantastic.
It's a piece of software that I use on a daily basis.
It's my main (only) DAW.
It still occasionally delights me, and I've been using since v2.5.
I plan on continuing to use Reason for many, many years to come.
