Hi, I am trying to figure out how to make structural changes in a song in Reason. Say I have an 8 bar section. There are several tracks (now just MIDI), several having automation. There are also tempo changes. I would like to duplicate that 8 bar section. I don't want to loop it. I just want an exact copy, with 8 new bars inserted.

thanks!

Brian

If I understand correctly all you need to do is highlight the bars including all automation lanes you want in the sequencer, then Ctrl C, then Ctrl V.

Yup, this is just as easy as doing an ordinary copy/paste to selected clips. You can also decide where to paste, by moving the timeline cursor to a specific location. If you want to duplicate a track and devices - you can right click on the track and choose "Duplicate Track And Devices" from the list, below the "Select All".
