I get really bad phasing issues with Reason 9.5 when exporting to 44.1 from 96khz project. All my layered elements get messed up. Is this always been an issue with Reason is it only in like this in the latest ver? Exporting as 96khz sounds fine.

I don't have any answers however how does your project sound when set to 44.1 in Reason?

Downgrading the project to 44.1 sounds ok, except it seems like the high end gets boosted? :?

Here's a drumloop test if anyone wants to hear himself.

TBH I can't tell the difference between the 96K and the 44.1K project file with my old ears and using Audacity under the Freq Analysis (ignoring anything above 15000Hz) they look pretty much the same (if anything a bit more power in the 96K one)..

However there is a clear difference and you can see it clearly in the Audacity Freq Analysis on the 96K exported 44.1K one... again not much help but at least you know you are not going mad..

My next question would be what else is in the chain?

I've personally never had an issue with this in previous versions but I've stopped doing 96k due to CPU limitations and Reason's hunger. There was definitely a difference in the exported 44.1 as soon as I heard it. And you're right, the 44k is a tad bit brighter, more air off the hi hats and brighter distortion sound in the drum loop. Like Carly proposed, whats in the chain?

I just got Waves' Aural Exciter the other day and had massive phasing issues when exporting at 44.1 which then completely disappeared at 96. Figured it was due to the plugin. Maybe not?

Drop them both in the playlist, invert the polarity of one and listen to a new magic snare drum come out of nowhere. There's definitely something fishy going on there.
Did you do lots of high end processing with the Rock Band EQ thing or something similar, working above 22 kHz? I guess that could be sampled incorrectly at 44.1.

Yes major differences between the 96k and 44.1k version. Weird. Did you contact the Props about this?
